Our new product will cover properties such as churches, mosques, synagogues and gurdwaras. Your clients will also benefit from, as standard, theft cover without forcible and violent exit or entry restriction, theft of metal, and glass including stained glass. We also provide extended liability cover for a wide range of events, hirers’ liability, pastoral care and cover for contents including bequeathed property and religious artefacts.
When the employees can be volunteers, the board members are trustees and the organisation has the interests of others at heart.
In our policy the definition of ‘employee’ includes volunteers as standard, and ‘contents’ includes bequeathed property as well as raffle prizes and donations. We also provide extended liability cover for a wide range of events and trustees indemnity up to £5,000,000. Interested parties are noted automatically with only the need to disclose the interest at the claims stage. Our travel section includes a kidnap and ransom extension.
When the organisation exists to tackle local problems, improve people’s life chances, support communities and help the environment.
Our policy protects those who focus on community development and awareness. Cover includes the following options loss of revenue, increased cost of working, additional increased cost of working, and loss of rent. As standard, we extend liability for a wide variety of events, and provide motor no claims discount and excess protection. As with Charity, our definition of ‘employee’ includes volunteers, and we are able to cover a wide range of stock items.
When the building could be a village hall and the business includes children’s play groups, third party hire and not for profit activity.
For organisations such as community centres, village halls and social clubs, our cover has a wide definition of buildings including fixed outdoor adventure playground equipment, and external defibrillators. Our policy covers raffle prizes and donations, and provides seasonal stock increases. As standard, we provide extended liability cover for a wide variety of events and hirers’ liability. Our policy can also be extended to include loss of licence.
